About Us
Our Mission
Jewel City United, JCU, is a non-profit organization, the purpose of which is to enrich and assist the development of youth soccer and to promote the social, community, academic and athletic abilities of our youth. JCU is organized and run on a voluntary basis by dedicated community members who have the success of our youth in mind. Through soccer and partnerships with community and local organizations, JCU aims to enrich the lives of our youth and their families. Jewel City United would like to promote the development of youth soccer, and provide a safe, structured, and enjoyable activity for all of the players within our diverse community, regardless of their race or socioeconomic status.
Vision
Jewel City United is dedicated to the development of youth soccer players and coaches within our community in an inclusive, safe, affordable and fun environment. In partnership with local city programs and generous sponsors we strive to create a lifelong passion and love for the game.
Our Goal
- To provide a fun, safe, inclusive, and healthy environment for youth soccer
- To encourage education and development of coaches and players
- To honor the game of soccer, by teaching respect for the rules, opponents, officials, teammates, the community, and players themselves.
- To use soccer as a tool for learning important lessons of life.
